Slow Cooked Creamy Cheese Creamed Corn w/Bacon

You’re going to want to add this Creamed Cheese Corn Casserole to your list of absolute favorite side dishes It pairs sweet corn with a delicious, creamy cream cheese enhanced base and a cheesy topping for a bake that’s heavenly balance .


  • 1 ¼ (16 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels... I most always use fresh cut off the cob *6 ears

  • 1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese

  • 2/3 cup butter

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1/2 pound Bacon (optional)

  • 1/4 cup green onions

  • salt and pepper to taste


  • 1- In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, sugar, green onions, sharp cheddar cheese, and bacon pieces, reserve 1/4 cup for topping. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • 2- Fry bacon and chop into pieces. Reserve until corn is cooked

  • 3- Cook on High for 2 to 4 hours, or on Low for 4 to 6 hours.

  • 4- Top with remaining bacon pieces.
